Another MSA contract is heading into the world of hydrogen.

In collaboration with a local partner, MSA, a.s. is preparing the first consignment of 18 ball valves, ranging in size from 2″ to 10″, for dispatch.

They are intended for pipelines carrying 100% hydrogen.

Where does such a quantity of hydrogen come from?

The end customer is building a new plant to produce green hydrogen via electrolysis, using energy from wind, sun and water.

The hydrogen will primarily be used by a local refinery to produce more sustainable fuels and will also be utilised as fuel for public transport.

The collaboration does not end with this first consignment.

MSA has already secured orders for two further batches of valves for the same project. The next shipment is scheduled to take place before Christmas.

We are delighted that MSA is playing a part in a project that is bringing the use of hydrogen into industrial practice.
