MSA has shipped a giant ball valve to Central Asia

The valves supplied have been specially designed to fit into the existing comprehensive system that MSA supplied back in 2014. 

Technical details and challenges:

• Valve type: K83 ball valve
• Dimensions and pressure class: NPS 36x30 Class 600
• Weight: An impressive 8,000 kg
• Construction: The valve is designed with a fully welded body and a trunnion-mounted configuration for maximum durability and reliability at high pressures.
• Customisation: Reduced flow rate and non-standard stem lengths were key to meeting the customer’s specific requirements.

Given the importance and time-sensitive nature of the project, air freight was chosen for transport to the final destination.
